Family photography is not about perfect moments. It is about real ones.

Heir & Light is my family storytelling work, created as a natural extension of my life as a mother and my belief that the ordinary days are the ones we return to most. This work is rooted in legacy, emotion, and the beauty of becoming.

Family sessions are guided gently and intentionally. There is no pressure to perform or follow a formula. Instead, I focus on allowing families to move, connect, and exist together as they are. Children are given space to be themselves. Parents are encouraged to exhale. The camera becomes a quiet witness rather than the center of attention.

I photograph families throughout Delaware, the surrounding Mid Atlantic region, and in locations that feel meaningful to the families I work with. Sessions often take place in homes, along the coast, or in familiar spaces that already hold history. Location supports the story but never defines it.

This work is about preserving seasons of life as they truly feel. The tenderness of early parenthood. The shifting rhythm of growing families. The fleeting nature of childhood.

Heir & Light is not about creating a single beautiful image. It is about building a visual history. One that reflects who you were in this chapter and allows you to return to it years from now.
